OSCE Unprovoked DVT History


An OSCE case where a consultant discusses the diagnosis and management of extensive left-leg DVT in a 32-year-old postpartum woman. Candidates must explain the ultrasound findings, discuss anticoagulation safe for breastfeeding, screen for malignancy and thrombophilia, and manage patient distress over separation from her baby during transfer.
